Welcome to my website!

Please feel free to listen to some fragments from my discography – a musical souvenir of 15 years of making music with the Chamber Orchestras Sinfonia and Prima la Musica, as well as some Symphony Orchestras. These music fragments were carefully selected; next to Haydn, who has been my musical companion for many years, you will hear music from many other composers that I cherish: Rameau, Mozart, Schubert, and Brahms. New music is also an important part of my repertoire: a number of radio recordings are witness to this.

The video fragments contain a short impression of rehearsals and concerts, as well as interviews with musicians like José van Dam and Frans Brüggen. Frans is beyond doubt one of the major musical personalities to influence my own way of thinking about music.
